Community meeting for Papamoa residents
On Thursday 27 May 2021 Todd Muller will host a community meeting for Papamoa residents to meet him and hear updates from key stakeholders.
Todd will be accompanied by Pete Chandler, Chief Executive of the Bay of Plenty DHB and Pete's colleague from the Mental Health team. We recognise that constituents have questions about health issues and that mental health is a key topic locally. Also of great interest in Papamoa is the current lack of after hours health care and you may remember Judy Killalea who lodged a Parliamentary Petition on this subject. She'll be coming along too.
Local crime concerns have been raised as another topic of interest and we are pleased to advise that Inspector Clifford Paxton will be attending to address questions on this subject. He is the Western Bay of Plenty Area Commander. Also attending with me will be my caucus colleague Simeon Brown who is the Opposition Spokesman for Police.
This will be a relaxed and informal meeting where constituents are encouraged to share their views and concerns and ask their MP for updates on goings on in Parliament. We request RSVPs so we can advise people easily if there is any change to the programme, but as long as seats are available on the night, people are welcome to decide to come at the last minute.
